They are looking for an up and coming HR and talent acquisition leader to help our client become best-in-class at recruiting frontline sales talent and be recognized as one of the best places to work in Canada. With the company’s main business growing at over 50% per year and recently launching 2 new businesses, they are looking to bring on a leader that can improve the quality of their hires, support in the culture strategy and setup the HR/Recruitment structure to support 3 interrelated businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy:
  • Develop a recruitment strategy with the goal to enhance the organization’s recruitment brand and attract qualified candidates, train our recruiters to sell our jobs effectively to the targeted candidates
  • Develop best practices across the organization by standardizing processes and procedures, collaborating with all business unit leaders and functions
  • Improve sourcing and screening processes & interview techniques, and establish and track talent acquisition targets
  • Improve the quality of new hires, while maintaining the volume as well as the meeting the requisite weekly hours for clients
  • Cultivate relationships with universities/colleges/schools to build a pipeline of talent
  • Participate in strategic projects for both recruitment programs and HR
Recruitment Operations:
  • Manage and oversee the Recruitment team on a day-to-day basis and supervise the current staff through the Recruitment Manager to ensure meeting the targeted recruitment output
  • Train the recruitment team on the strategy developed above while coaching & supporting them to effectively implement it
  • Provide quality assurance measures with an aim to improve the quality of hiring and reduce attrition
  • Create employment contract templates
  • Develop and oversee the employee onboarding process
  • Engage with both passive and active potential hires, fostering long term relationships with top talent
HR Administration:
  • Develop and improve HR policies and procedures, benefits administration and support
  • HRIS management including employee status, career and talent management
  • Establish performance management reviews and execution
  • Lead Labour Management Impact Assessment
  • Manage internal HR and/or employee issues
  • Support in developing & executing company’s culture strategy
  • Social media and corporate brand management
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • 10 years of progressive experience, executing full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience with establishing and optimizing high-volume recruitment programs in an, dynamic environment
  • 4+ years of leadership experience building and coaching on-site and off-site talent acquisition teams
  • Proven track record driving measurable results through setting up exceptional hiring practices and training and developing world class recruiters
  • Familiar with various social media platforms and recruitment channels
  • Multi-tasker, highly organized, change manager with the capability of working in a fast growing, entrepreneurial and customer centric environment
  • Experience with hiring high-performing sales representatives is highly desirable but not mandatory
