Project Manager - ERP Implementation

 Our North American manufacturing client, with head office in North Delta is undergoing an exciting transformation in their organization and is in the process of implementing a new ERP.  This is a great opportunity to lead a full-cycle ERP implementation.

We are looking for an ERP Project Manager for an 18-20-month assignment to ensure a successful multi phase, multi location implementation.   This role will be based out of different locations in BC, Ontario and Ohio throughout the project implementation and roll-out.

 You will work alongside business leaders to ensure the success of this implementation. Your responsibilities will include completion of all phases of the ERP project on time, within budget, and in accordance with project timeline and stakeholder expectations as well as defining and managing the project scope and deliverables.  You will keep the steering committee informed of project status and risks.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing mid-tiered ERP conversion / implementation projects
  • Ideal experience with Just Food ERP OR Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • A university degree, preferably in business or information technology.
  • PMP designation is ideal
  • Proven expertise in documenting all phases of the project life cycle, project governance, including gathering and writing requirements, functional specifications, business case preparation, project charters, project plans, change control and budget & status reports.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in analysis, deployment, conversion, installation, training and support.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills and ability to hold people accountable to deliverables
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience and comfort in an environment of transformation with multifacility.
  • Ability to travel to different Canadian and US locations during roll-out.
