Our client is an exciting, growing Canadian Consumer Goods company who provides natural products is looking to hire a National Account Manager into their expanding sales team to help drive new business through their customers and into new markets.   Based in Vancouver, you will work closely with the VP Sales & Marketing to develop and implement sales plans and strategies within existing accounts and in new markets.  You will also contribute ideas to new product development for the introduction of new product and line extensions into existing brands as well as ensuring customer expectations are fulfilled and maintained through excellent service, product, industry and operations knowledge.  You will assist with annual sales objectives, challenges and issues in entering new markets, departmental budget and the monitoring of key performance metrics as well as keeping on top of changing trends, new competitive threats and opportunities.  Through coordination with internal teams, working with the customer and attending trade shows you will drive growth, meet sales targets and achieve long term success with existing and new clients.  With an aggressive expansion plan, this newly created National Account Manager role is critical for the company’s success. 
 
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
 
  • Experience in effectively managing major key accounts
  • Experience in a similar role within the natural health product field or related industry
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business ideal
  • Experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment and be able to work multiple priorities and complete complex projects with rapidly changing and conflicting priorities whilst providing high attention to detail
  • Being a skilled negotiator, motivated leader and maintaining excellent business relationships is key for this role
  • Results focused and oriented toward problem solving and achievement of team goals.
  • Ability to innovate, understand and scale processes and delegate tasks.
  • Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams to achieve business results
  • Strong analytical, planning and presentation skills
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. 
  • Positive, energetic and comfortable in an open, dynamic and collaborative company culture. 
  • Must be willing to travel as required for trade shows and account visits.
