General Manager, Canada
DBG Canada Limited (The De Biasi Group) is a full-service manufacturer in the Automotive, Heavy Truck, Military, Agriculture and White Goods industries, as a Tier One and Tier Two Provider. For over 40 years this privately-owned organization has provided in-house design, rapid prototyping, tooling, metal stamping, fabrication, VA/VE solutions and sequenced modular assembly.
As a global manufacturer with continued exciting growth plans, DBG is hiring a General Manager (GM) for its Canadian operations. The role reports to the President and CEO, is located in Mississauga and provides direct leadership and oversight of all Canadian facilities. As the GM Canada, you will have full P&L responsibility of all Canadian operations including Production, Materials Management, Quality, Purchasing and Customer Service. You will manage 2 facilities and a warehouse located in Canada, with multiple and mixed products and significant SKU volumes. You will promote an environment of open communication and team collaboration, develop a solid management team through coaching and training, and support a highly productive workforce. You will establish targets and goals for operations to meet Executive team expectations, develop performance metrics and drive towards and measure success. Through your solid organizational, planning and lean manufacturing skills, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvement; particularly in cost optimization, processes, systems, productivity, inventory management and quality.
Working closely with the Executive leadership team, corporate services, sales as well as the other North American GM’s; you will establish global best practices and programs. Bring policies and procedures to life, comply with corporate standards as well as Lean Six Sigma and DBG’s Quality Management Systems.
